Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Galaxy Math ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Account Terms

• You must be 18 years or older to create a teacher or parent account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• Student accounts are created and managed by teachers or parents, who are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Galaxy Math only for lawful, educational purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than its intended educational use
• Share login credentials with unauthorized users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Subscriptions and Payments

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a yearly basis
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice before your renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Schools and districts may pay by purchase order with approved credit terms

Free Trial

We offer a free trial period with full access to features. At the end of the trial, your account will convert to a limited free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan. Your data will be preserved regardless of your choice.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Galaxy Math and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for educational purposes
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content
• All trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property

User Content

Any data you input into the Service (class names, student names, etc.) remains your property. We claim no ownership over your content. By using the Service, you grant us permission to store and process this data as necessary to provide the Service.

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us
• We may terminate or suspend access immediately for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Data export is available upon request before account deletion

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Galaxy Math shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
