Our Commitment

Galaxy Math is committed to providing a website and educational game platform that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

We believe that every student deserves equal access to quality math education, and we continually work to improve the accessibility of our platform.

  • Form labels and error messages properly associated
  • ARIA landmarks for screen reader navigation
  • Consistent navigation across all pages

Game Platform

  • Adjustable game speed to accommodate different needs
  • Clear visual feedback for all interactions

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some aspects of our platform may have limitations:

  • 3D Minigames: Some 3D minigames may be challenging for screen reader users. Alternative 2D minigames are available.
  • Complex Visualizations: Some math visualizations may not have full text alternatives. We are working to add audio descriptions.
  • Timed Activities: Some activities have time components. Teachers can adjust or disable time limits for students who need accommodations.

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across the platform.
